Are men happier than women?

I received an e-mail earlier and thought I'd share it with you. Well, at least with you men folk out there - women may not agree.

Why men are happier.

 1-Your last name stays put.

2-You can never be pregnant.

3-You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park.

4-You can wear NO shirt to a water park.

5-Car mechanics tell you the truth.

6-The world is your urinal.

7-You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt.

8-Wedding dress $5000. Tux rental-$100.

9-People never stare at your chest when you're talking to them.

10-Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat.

11-A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase.

12-You can open all your own  jars.

13-You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes..

14-The same hairstyle lasts for years, even decades.

15-You only have to shave your face and neck.

16-You have freedom of choice concerning growing a moustache.

  2. When I was a child, there was a programme on lunchtime tv about a boy called Joe. Whenever he got into trouble, his mum would shake her head sadly at him and say "Oh, Joe"
When I read your list, I had a sudden urge to do the same...! It did make me smile though.

  5. Nessa: haha, I'm glad you agree with at least one of them ;)

Sharon: sorry for your first reaction and I'm pleased it made you smile :)

    Momma: Thanks

Tempo: I think you're right about us being simpler creatures (or at least less complex) I believe it's also down to us being easier to please. Thanks

  6. Now you've put it like that; yes it is easier being a fella. Oh apart from flu. I wouldn't want any woman to have to go through man-flu.

    1. haha - man flu? Surely that doesn't exist! It is merely the figment of female imagination :)

  7. Picture early man and early woman leaving their cave in search of food. He's going to find some unsuspecting animal and hit it with a rock or bit of wood then bring it back and throw it on the fire...job done.
She will search out the right kind of tree and dig roots, she will notice the tiny holes in the bark and winkle out the grubs, she will see if the berries are ripe before picking them...and we're all still doing the same thing even now!
Women cant help themselves...(Poor things) :-)

  8. Hi Joe. You got me thinking with your last comment on my blog - about building walls. So I've had a go & written a poem. It's up on my blog if you're interested. Thank you for the inspiration!

  9. Funny, isn't it, that several of the things on this list are things that men actually control? Who asks the woman to change her name but a man? Aren't the mechanics who lie to women generally men? Isn't it men who stare at women's chests? Don't women have to pack more because men refuse to take more than one suitcase? LOL, I'm just saying, yes, maybe men are happier. But they may also be the cause of women's uphappinesses... (and for the record, if a man has a nice chest, I might be inclined to stare at it!) :)
